Aquaman Vietnam 2022 is the first swimming-running duathlon in Vietnam held in Tra Co, Quang Ninh.
After my training session, I was very confident when receiving the bib.
Everything is ready!
Quang Ninh beautiful beach until this day...
It is quite an adventure participating in this duathlon, especially under challenging rain and cold windy weather conditions at Tra Co beach in Quang Ninh. This is the first time I swam at the sea in such bad weather.
Swimming in the sea during cold, windy weather must have added an extra layer of difficulty to the competition.

Being able to compete in such a hectic atmosphere, I also found my mood lifted and all my worryness disappeared.
Participating in my first athletic competition in such a situation is my first significant achievement. Overcoming nervousness and excitement while swimming in such conditions takes all my determination and a willingness to step out of my comfort zone.
After swimming, I rush to the transition area and take the running section. I have to gradually adjust my body from the cold sea water to the running by adjusting my pace. I have taken time to make my muscles and joints warm enough to run as fast as I could. It is a matter of technique and my strength.

5km is quite short.
After all, I got the medal with an impressive result. I get top 15 overall. With me the medal I earned is not just a physical token but a symbol of my ability to overcome fears and challenges. It represents my hard training and resilience I displayed throughout the competition. It's fantastic that the experience has given me a sense of belief in my capabilities. I boost my belief that giving my best effort can lead to success.
Many thanks to my parents for always accompanying and cheering me on.
These kinds of experiences not only contribute to physical fitness but also build mental strength and confidence for me. This event serves as a stepping stone for more positive and empowering experiences in my future.
